Challenge
In recent years, Temporary Space Nordics has grown significantly, both organically and through acquisitions, creating the need for more structured processes. There was a need to gain an overview of ongoing, upcoming, and completed projects, as well as to gain control over the modules that the temporary facilities are built from and everything included in those modules. With that control also comes the ability to monitor utilization rates and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
The collaboration with Multisoft began with a needs analysis led by Multisoft’s process experts who, together with TSN’s management and users, digitized yesterday’s manual processes with a focus on transparency and collaboration through shared information. An information model was created that the business could recognize and understand. Gradually, the requirements became clear for what the system should be able to handle.

Customized system solution
The solution for TSN was a customized project management and booking system. Each project consolidates bookings of modules, personnel, and items that a customer rents at a given location and for a specified period. The project follows a predefined process governed by status transitions and changes, and the dialogue during the project is documented centrally in the system.
All projects can be connected to the financial system via a project number that can be retrieved once the contract is signed, enabling the integration of data such as depreciation of modules.
The implementation phase began with a site visit where the business experts in the project team presented "how it actually works in practice." This made it clear that TSN’s domain experts would be key to a successful project.
With a transparent, tailored solution, the sales team can now produce a larger share of the documentation on their own. This reduces time spent by project and construction managers and increases transparency.
Because the solution is built entirely around TSN’s operations and requirements, the system contains only what the company actually uses and employs terminology that users recognize. This reduced the need for training during the implementation project and enabled users to get up and running with the system very quickly.
